HTML Lens is designed so we do not receive your documents or activity.

The short version. The HTML Lens app has no account, analytics, advertising, tracking, backend, or cloud storage. Your HTML Lens library is stored locally on your device. We do not receive it. If you separately join the website launch list, we receive only the email address you submit for those updates.
The HTML Lens app collects no personal information. There is no email, sign-in, profile, advertising identifier, analytics SDK, or crash-reporting service in the app. The optional website launch list is described separately below.
Files you paste, open, edit, and save are kept in the app's local storage. HTML Lens does not upload them to NOMOS Industries or to an HTML Lens server. There is no HTML Lens server, cloud sync, or remote document storage.
Sharing, printing, or exporting a document sends it only to the destination you choose through iOS.
Deleting a document moves it to Recently Deleted on your device. It can be restored for 30 days, after which HTML Lens permanently removes it from local storage. You may also empty Recently Deleted sooner.
HTML Lens may ask iOS for clipboard access so it can recognize copied HTML and offer to render it. Clipboard inspection happens on your device. Clipboard text is not sent to us and is not added to your library unless you choose to render it.
HTML Lens itself does not contact an HTML Lens backend. An HTML document can still contain links, remote images, fonts, stylesheets, video, or JavaScript that requests information from other websites. Loading that document may therefore contact those third parties, just as opening the document in a browser would.
HTML Lens for iPhone is a paid App Store download, not a subscription or in-app purchase. Apple processes the purchase under Apple's privacy policy. HTML Lens does not receive your payment details.
The free HTML Lens tools run in your browser and use local browser storage. They set no analytics or advertising cookies. As with the iPhone app, HTML you render may itself request remote resources from third parties.
If you join the launch list on htmllens.com, our website host, Netlify, receives the email address and form metadata you submit so we can send TestFlight invitations and App Store launch updates. The form does not receive your HTML documents or library. We do not sell your email or use it for advertising. To have it deleted, email support@htmllens.com.

Privacy laws may give you rights over personal data held by a company. HTML Lens does not hold your documents, so there is no remote HTML Lens account or document copy for us to access, correct, sell, or provide. If you joined the website launch list, you may ask us to access or delete that email address by contacting support.
If a future version changes these practices, this page and its date will be updated before that version is released.
